Winnetka's Electronics Recycling Program Resumes March 30

In January, the Village suspended its electronics recycling program for the winter months. The program will resume March 30, 2017, at its regular time, every Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Public Works Yards, 1390 Willow Road. The Village will continue its other recycling programs year-round, including recycling of styrofoam, CFL bulbs, batteries, handheld electronics, holiday lights and gym shoes. Please contact the Public Works Department at 847-716-3568 with any questions.​

2017 Spring Cleanup is April 24 - 27

Winnetka’s 2017 Spring Clean-up will be held April 24 - 27. Scheduled pickups are: Monday, April 24: north of Tower Road; Tuesday, April 25: Tower Road to Pine Street; Wednesday, April 26: Pine Street to Willow Road; Thursday, April 27: south of Willow Road. Items should be placed on residential parkways the evening before the scheduled pickup, or by 7:00 A.M. the day of the pickup, in order to minimize littering problems.
