Responsibilities of the Plan Commission:

• Prepares, maintains, and recommends to the Village Council an official Comprehensive Plan (the Plan) for the present and future development or redevelopment within the Village;
• Comments to the Village Council regarding consistency of the zoning and other applicable village code provisions with the goals and priorities identified in the Plan;
• Promotes implementation of the Plan by prioritizing identified improvements;Comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Village Council regarding the consistency of Special Use Permit requests with the Comprehensive Plan; and
• Comments to the Village Council regarding plats of land subdivisions and/or consolidations and their consistency with the Plan and compliance with Land Subdivision (Chapter 21) requirements.

The Plan Commission meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Council Chambers.
