NEW: Electronics recycling will be placed on hold for the winter months. The last day to drop off electronics is Thursday, November 16, 2017. The program will resume in early April 2018.
The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) is an agency that provides environmentally responsible recycling for computers and electronics. Winnetka residents may also drop-off their electronics at the Glenview SWANCC Transfer Station (1151 North River Road). The Transfer Station is open most Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. For a fee, residents may also schedule a curbside electronics pickup. These materials will then be recycled through the SWANCC program.
