Kick off the holiday shopping season in North Shore style in Winnetka and shop #Winnetka on Small Business Saturday! This family-friendly day of events is perfect for all ages who want to shop, listen to carolers, and have explore Winnetka businesses! This day of shopping and entertainment is hosted by the Village, Winnetka-Northfield-Glencoe Chamber of Commerce, the Winnetka Park District, and the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library.

Schedule of Events: 

10 AM – 4 PM: Stores are open for business! Participate in the Business Scavenger Hunt. Enjoy holiday crafts, activities, and a used book sale at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library. The #WINNETKA letters will be illuminated and a perfect place for a family photo in Hubbard Woods.

11 AM – 12 PM: Canterbury Carolers will perform in the West Elm Business District.

12 – 1 PM: Canterbury Carolers will perform in the East Elm Business District.

1 – 3 PM: New Trier High School Carolers will perform in the Hubbard Woods Business District.

Business Scavenger Hunt:

Discover and support businesses throughout Winnetka at this year’s Scavenger Hunt — sponsored by local businesses, the Village of Winnetka, and the Winnetka Park District. Stroll through Winnetka to see how many clues you can find! This scavenger hunt is suitable for kids AND adults, alike. Participants will be entered into drawings to win prizes from a wide range of Winnetka businesses. Clue sheets will be sent out Wednesday, November 22 to all pre-registered participants. Sign up today!

Youth Programs at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library:

Warm up with some festive winter-themed crafts and activities that will delight people of all ages! Shop the used book sale to benefit the Friends of the Library. Check out the Library of Things and Studio equipment in action! 

Carolers:

The Victorian-era Canterbury Carolers will perform in West Elm and East Elm from 11 AM – 1 PM. New Trier High School students will perform carolers in Hubbard Woods from 1 – 3 PM.
