Cook County United Against Hate

Cook County United Against Hate logo

In October, Village Council signed a resolution pledging that Winnetka would participate in Cook County United Against Hate, as the Village is dedicated to becoming more equitable, welcoming, and connected as part of the Cook County community and dedicated to protecting all residents from hate crimes and seeking to end bigotry in all its forms. You can learn more about the Cook County initiative by visiting its website, signing the pledge found there, and exploring the resources it offers to residents.

The Village was also a part of a message issued by Highland Park as a collaboration between communities in the county: working together to condemn acts of hate and commit to safeguarding our collective community. Read it here.
