As COVID-19 cases have risen dramatically in Winnetka recently, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health's metrics, we ask you to do your part to prevent the spread of the virus:
- wear a mask
- wash your hands
- practice social distancing
- avoid gathering in groups
- stay home if you have symptoms.
On November 17, the State of Illinois announced a move to Tier 3 resurgence mitigations, changing occupancy limits for many businesses. Read more on the State's website.
We are all in this together, and every effort to reduce COVID-19 exposure can help us all be safe and healthy. Please do your best to avoid small, indoor gatherings with people outside your household, as this behavior has been identified as a cause of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases. Please maintain vigilance about remaining 6 feet apart from others in public.
The Village of Winnetka relies on the Cook County Department of Public Health and the State of Illinois for case statistics.
