    July 18, 2022, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

On a windy night in November of 1975, a Great Lakes freighter by the name of SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior, and all 29 men on board perished. It was the largest ship on the Great Lakes and remains the largest to have sunk there. Gordon Lightfoot even published a hit song about it a year later. In this presentation, learn about what potentially caused the shipwreck from the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Event tags: Our Great Lakes Series
