The excavation of the pavement, placement of the concrete curb, and concrete pavement portion of the project are complete.  Unfortunately, the delivery of brick for construction of the permeable pavement on the western portion of the lot was delayed.  The provision and placement of the brick pavers is expected to be completed by the end of next week.  Parking and vehicle/pedestrian access will not be permitted until the completion of the project.

Pedestrians can access the station and track platforms from Lincoln Avenue, via the pedestrian bridge; or the platforms from the Elm or Oak Street stairways.  Alternate commuter parking is available on the east side of Green Bay Road; the west side of Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to the tracks; the Lincoln Avenue Parking Lot; and the public parking lot on the south side of Elm Street, adjacent to the Hadley School.

The Metra Station, Cafe Fleurette and Zengeler Cleaners will remain open during construction, and reserved parking is available for a limited number of customers on the east side of Green Bay Road, adjacent to the parking lot.  Two additional reserved customer parking spaces are also available are on the Lincoln Avenue adjacent to the pedestrian bridge.

Bicycle parking is moved to the southwest corner of Elm Street and Lincoln Avenue, with additional bike parking in front of the Fell building on Lincoln Avenue.
