Protect Against West Nile Virus Risk

Recent North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) mosquito trapping operations indicate that the risk to humans from West Nile Virus is very high within our area. They advise residents to take precautions such as wearing repellent and avoid being outside during peak mosquito hours at dawn and dusk.

The NSMAD is a local government agency tasked with reduce the mosquito population in order to minimize the negative impacts mosquitoes have on the quality of life.  More information is available at their website:
