Register to Vote

If you have an Illinois driver’s license or state ID, you may register to vote online through the Illinois State Board of Elections website.

Hours for regular in-person voter registration at Winnetka Village Hall are: 8:30 AM to noon; and 1 to 5 PM, Monday through Friday at 510 Green Bay Road. Please bring two forms of identification in order to register, at least one must show your current Winnetka address. By state statute, regular voter registration closes 28 days prior to Election Day and re-opens two days following the election.

The Clerk’s website also contains information about Early Voting, which enables Illinois voters to cast their ballots before Election Day at designated locations without having to provide a reason or excuse.
