If you have an Illinois driver’s license or state ID, you may register to vote online through the Illinois State Board of Elections website.
Visit the Cook County Clerk’s website for information on grace period and Election Day voter registration, voting locations, voting by mail, ballot information and election results. The Clerk’s website also contains information about Early Voting, which enables Illinois voters to cast their ballots before Election Day at designated locations without having to provide a reason or excuse.
